I´m a great fan of Italian food and this restaurant was recommended to our group of friends visiting Rotterdam. We were not disappointed.
The place is located somewhat away from the city centre but it was easy to get there (we used water taxi, which is a fun experience) and when the place offers a grand view of the river and its traffic, the location is really fine. So is the interior which is traditional, cosy and not flashy.
The menu is not big and we could basically only choose from 2 main courses one fish and one meat. The wine list is also not extensive but absolutely acceptable with some excellent alternatives such as Acinatico Amarone de Valpolicella that we really enjoyed. The antipasti and the primi were really excellent and so was the veal that I had for main course. The service was attentive, charming and very efficient. The only negative thing was that fact that we ran out of Amarone and Barolo, so stock up for us next time.
