We went to Eethuis Bij Bao because of the good reviews on TripAdvisor. It's not a place where you would expect a restaurant like this (the street is called Pannekoekstraat, which is Dutch for 'Pancake Street') and it's not decorated like a cliche Chinese restaurant, though it's cosy. But the food is absolutely delicious! If you compare this to the 'normal' Chinese-Indonesian restaurants in Holland, the flavours are so different and surprising. Everything is freshly prepared (the kitchen has an open view so you can actually see how your food is prepared). Also the staff was friendly and welcoming. And the best of it all: it's definitly not expensive! So definitly a restaurant worth trying!
