“Original Hotel”

My wife und me have been in this nice Hotel for two days. It was about Sylvester.
We got, so we think, the best and most original chamber, 'The Vermeer-Room', to an solid price. We had from that chamber a very good view to the Nieuwe Church, wich lays on the other side of a small channel, so it was just a distanz of about 15 meters to the church. And we had view to one of the many bridges. We could feel in that Hotel like in venice.
The Owners of the Hotel were also very friendly, so friendly, that they gave us another Room for one night because of the big sylvester-Noise.
In one Sentence: it is a hotel, you can not better find in such a nice historic town.

Room Tip: Go just around the Nieuwe Church, and you very surely will find the Emauspoort. Our advice: you sho...

This was one of our favorite hotels on our trip in April 2011...a true family-run accommodation with awesome breakfasts every day! We were in a cute and comfy room that looked over the back patio. Each hour, we could hear the cathedral bells chime, which lulled us to sleep every evening. It was so much fun to walk through Delft from this great location...right across from the town square. We had a private entrance in the evening, which was nice. The hotel staff...all family...were committed to service and took care of all our wishes and needs. The hotel lobby had a nice sitting area with a PC to check email. We felt very comfortable and welcome here.

Room Tip: We liked the back room location which gave us a bit more quiet and privacy.

This is the place to be in Delft. They have rooms for every budget. The rooms are clean and very nice. The hotel is located behind the town church. It's easy walking distance to everything. The front desk is helpful and they really take very good care of you.

We, three older business men from USA, and France, stayed in the two gypsy caravans here in the inner court yard with direct access to the street and the restaurant, and had a great time. The double bunk bed in each was not bad at all, had a sitting area with wicker chairs and table and coffee and tea making tray and water boiler, had swivel flat screen TV (bed and lounge area
view) and a fun more than big enough bathroom, with a BIG shower. We are BIG men (two of us 350 pounder's) and there was room for us and comfort and stability in these antique wooden caravans. Breakfast was great, buffet style, and the great coffee machine too.
The location of this hotel is right near the center square and on a canal, lots of nearby restaurants, and shopping, and this is wonderful place for a get away, Delft is good too for a weekend or short break.

We stayed for 4 nights in Delft - two nights in the Vermeer Room and 2 nights in a Gypsy Caravan - just to have the chance to try both. The Vermeer Room was just wonderful - with a loft where we could have put two more people, its more like a small apartment with a lovely view of the church and bridge. The gypsy caravans are fun for something different, although quite small they are cozy and manage to fit in everything you need. Prices were very reasonable, location was superb, breakfast was one of the best outside of five star fancy places, staff was friendly and helpful. THere is a room where the desk is that you can use with free Wifi, a large table and chairs plus some cozy chairs - perfect for meeting people, working on my blog or reading. I would definitely stay again.

This is a 3 star hotel but an outstandingly good 3 star hotel.

Family-run with helpful staff. Price includes a Dutch-style breakfast that should see you through to dinner ... and the hotel is in a great location next to the 'New' Church and market square.

Rooms are large and functional. Comfortable beds. Car park is a pay car park 5 minutes walk away that is safe, well lit and amazingly clean.

Really enjoyed our 3 night short break in Delft, a town packed with so much to see and do ... in addition to the wonderful pottery.

More than pleased with our hotel choice. Recommended.

Per the other reviews, this charming hotel offers wonderful service, comfortable rooms, a sumptuous breakfast and caring personnel. It was perfect after a day of experiencing the intensity of Amsterdam, to hop a train back to our peaceful establishment in Delft. We also took the local tram to Den Hague and Scheveningen Pier which worked well for a day's adventure. Could have spent an extra day or two exploring this area using Delft as home base. Hotel staff also steered us to great local restaurants that met our desires for the day. The Emauspoort is on my recommendation list!
