Reception was excellent ,the staff being welcoming, happy, smiling and helpful.
The room was standard Mercure, but more than adequate and a very good advanced booking price. Flat screen TV has a number of BBC channels for the English speakers. Large car park..paying of course now that hotels have discovered a new source of income from motorists.
The Hotel was difficult to find by satnav as the road to access the hotel from the south has been blocked with fixed bollards. We managed to get around this only by driving through someones car park. If driving ,try to come in from the north.
We didn't have breakfast due to the crazy price. Euro16.50 for some coffee and a bowl of fruit was a non starter.
The hotel was a good stop over which happened to fit in with our itinery.
