This was a little gem amongst the restuarants we eat in during our Europe trip. Our first visit was only the second night they were open for dinner. The host was welcoming, service almost overwhelming as we were the only people in the restaurant. The bread loaf and curry butter for starters was to die for, and the rest of the meal was of the same standard. Wine was served by the glass from the full selection, not restricted to just some wines.
The staff couldn't be more helpful, even to the point that the manager's wife came outside when we were taking a photo after leaving, and advised us to visit Zaanse Schans. We wouldn't have gone there otherwise and it was one of the highlights of the trip.
The meal, service and experience were so good we went again the second night. There were a group of 4 that night in addition to ourselves, and they also asked for opening times so they could come back.
