I was very impressed. I can't judge the location - arrived in the dark, left in the dark. Seems like Haarlem is a pretty town but I presume you only stay here if it is convenient. However, the hotel is probably the best €100 room I have ever had. Stylish, well-equipped, with a comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Couldn't work out how to get a computer connection but I didn't try very hard - there is a desktop computer in the room so I presume you can connect! Overall, a very good boutique hotel is a characterful location.
Service was friendly and personal. Only negative was a very odd thing - the credit card machine at check out offers the option to tip. This was a big surprise in a small hotel in in the Netherlands where tipping on a room rate is totally uncustomary. It led to a slightly awkward exchange with the receptionist.... Small thing. But they should change it.
