The food was very nice (especially dessert!) and the staff were welcoming and friendly. One thing I would say though is that it is pretty formal and a lot of the menu items reflect this - the starters in particular were things which I wouldn't normally choose (think sweetbreads, oxtail, carpaccio, etc.). It was very tasty but I wouldn't recommend going if you are a picky eater or vegetarian as you may have a hard time finding something you'd like!
However, the service and food were both excellent, if a little expensive, and the decor, garden and location were beautiful.
