we stayed with Lesley in April with four of our friends, so we took up all three of her rooms. she was extremely helpful with directions so that we could find her and alerted us a few days before our arrival that as it would be the Kings birthday weekend we would need to take an alternative route. she greeted us with cups of coffee and we chose a delightful room on the 2nd floor, with a lovely spacious bathroom. I think this was the best room of the three. The top room was quaint but had a very steep staircase. The basement room although large was rather dark, it did have its own entrance which was a plus. The location was perfect, on a lovely quiet street, close enough to all the attractions but was not affected by the noise of all the celebrations. Lesley supplied us with a map and highlighted the best routes to take, she also organised a taxi to take us to the Anne Frank house. Her breakfast was delicious with a good selection of meats, cheeses and homemade breads and pastries. We would definately choose to stay with Lesley should we visit Amsterdam in the future. Thank you Lesley and we hope you have enjoyed sitting in your garden this summer with no trees over shadowing it.
