Recommended in our Lonely Planet and close to the Albert Cuypmarkt (one of 3 in town) we stopped in here to grab some lunch while we were walking back towards the Museumplein and we're very glad we did. It was empty when we dropped by, but no sooner than we had ordered and about 20-30 men (probably working on the nearby Rijksmuseum) all came in and made it very busy indeed. This place knocks out side plate sized burgers of different varieties (I had the Beefburger Royal - delicious!) and they use really good quality beef all put together and cooked on the premises. They aren't cheap burgers, but they are worth it. They can also give you a burger without the bun (??) if you're that way inclined but they do not serve fries/chips so don't bother asking.
