Quite different to any hotel I have previously stayed in. Strange entrance/ reception area, but rooms are absolutely immaculate and very tastefully designed. Staff are very friendly and very interested in your opinion of the hotel/ any problems you had etc.
I got a deal in which i got a deluxe room for the price of a standard, and to be honest I expected it to be a bit bigger, but it is still more than adequate for 2 people.
It is within walking distance of the main shopping area, pubs and restaurants.
The metro is around the corner which brings you to central station, dam square and the red light district, although we only got it on arrival and when we were leaving as it is easy enough to walk anywhere else

Well, we were seduced by it's "modern" design, superb beds, walk in shower and generous reviews on it to book it.
Design: actually appeared to be good on pictures, not so practical in reality though. There was too much of the black wood around as per my taste, neither walking shower nor toilet had door, so make sure you travel partner has a healthy stomach or, otherwise, you would feel that it's in your bedroom directly. Besides, taking shower could be cold, since room was not that warm after all. My partner was OK with the bed, but I've got pain next morning, I think it's too soft, but that the matter of taste.
Breakfast was rather basic, that surprised me since they've got a whole bratisserie on the ground floor to themselves.
The only thing which was really immaculate was their service from A to Z.
Location is close to museums and VIP shops, but far from center.
Overall, if we had paid for that as for a 3* hotel, we would have been satisfied, but for the price we paid, we left disappointed. Next hotel, NH Shiller, was so much better for much less money.

We stayed here two nights around the holidays and really liked the hotel. Rooms are well decorated, modern and very clean. There is a safe, minibar and flat screen tv. Service at the desk was very friendly. However, if you have mobility problems, hotel stairs are extremely steep and elevator tiny. The free breakfast buffet was ok, but choice could be a bit more varied.

The hotel is well situated, on nice shopping street, not too far from restaurants and bars.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during the new years eve, it was a excellent experience. the hotel rooms have a good design, and is located just 2 minutes walk from Vondel park and is in the prime shopping area of amsterdam, where you will find the best shops like Channel. Gucci etc.

We walked around the hotel and walked passed it twice as it has a very small door which opens by ringig a bell, then we reach the reception on the 1st floor , where the staff is friendly and charming, very helpful tries to do all they can to help. i remember the name of only Brenda, who was very efficient right from the time i booked the hotel, the service is very professional, the breakfast is next to the hotel in a brassire which is also quite good.

the room is nice and very modern, toilets clean and with all the acceiorires, all in all a fantastic experience. would definately come here again.
