Nothing special but thai food is good in general. People were nice. If you are around and feel like eating thai you can go but don ´t travel the city for that

“Tasty very very tasty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2012

A small 40 seater restauant in a lovely area of Amsterdam about a 12 minute walk from Anne Frank Museam.

The staff were very friendly and attentive but not overly so.

A complementary snack on a silver spoon ... nice and a bit spicy.

We have the mixed starter - Chicken skewers, crab cakes, shrimp, sprint roll, shrimp and chicken battered parcels, plus 3 sauces ...... well cooked and tasty.

For the main course we had two dishes.

The first a beef red curry. This was listed as 2 stars - medium heat. This dish was FANTASTIC the correct amount of heat - a medium heat as described in the menu. The beef was tender and the liquor flavoursome.

The second a venison in a thai basil and chilli sauce. Again this dish was listed a 2 stars - medium spice. Well the dish was more like a 3 star heat ..... HOT!!! :-) A little to hot for us but we managed and again it was tasty the meat was tender.

We only mention this as there does not appear to be parity in the heat descriptions give so best to check with the waitresses when you order.

Our meal came to 82 euros , 22 of this was for a bottle of wine

We would highly recommend this restaurant .. To the staff thanks for a lovely night

“Lovely food, dim lighting!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2012

A dark and cozy little restaurant! Loved the opening enjoyment of an amuse bouche! What an unexpected surprise, I think this place must be un-touristy, which was a nice reprieve. Pad thai, curry, fish, veggies - all delish. Would definitely go back. Love walking around the Jordaan too. I think all the restaurants look good there. Plus, my picky mother even got basically what she wanted when we asked for some special preparations.

“Pleasant meal”

The prawn spring rolls were excellent. I normally order Pad Thai and this is certainly one of the biggest I have come across!

“excellent, seek it out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

after reading previous reviewers opinions, we made a point of eating here and were glad we did. fantastic food (best Thai we've ever had) , reasonably priced and great service. we checked it out earlier in the day and the really friendly staff gave us a booking despite the restaurant not being open at that point. good thing they did, because it was extremely busy when we got there. located in a nice little side street in the really trendy Jordaan area, which it well worth visiting for a wander, for a contrast to the touristy city centre. if you like great Thai food in nice surroundings, go there, simple as that.
