On recommendation of our hosts at Sunhead of 1617 we took the tram to find this place. It was rather dark and wintry, rain was falling as the tram dropped us about 10 minutes walk to the Djago. Well it was worth this trip! We also had the rijstaffel served by a delightful waitress. The service was great and the food was almost as good as you can get in Indonesia. My son-in-law is Indonesian and he attested to this. The rijjstaffel had the variety, fresh colours, and intensity of flavour of good Indonesian cooking. The quantity was also significantly greater than is usual in modern European restaurants (my son-in-law insisted on taking the leftovers home to the B&B) Accompanied by some good beers a great night was had by all.
