I was taken here by a friend, which is in the west of Amsterdam. This place is quite outstanding in terms of both choice and taste all coming at a mid-range cost. There is also a large selection for vegetarians, with the menu being 10 pages long. The mackerel dishes were of an excellent quality and size for the price. There is also a range of beverages on top of the standard 'house pils'. The owner and waiter were both cheerful and jovial, and looked like they enjoyed working there which gave a nice relaxed ambience for a fully enjoyable meal.
