We visited the restaurant in August 2012 from the UK as we had heard great things about it.
The food is top quality michelin star dining. We had three Amuse-bouches one of which included mackerel ice cream it was great. In addition the boullabaisse starter was amazing with large fish fillets, clams, mussels etc it was fab.
In addition they have something extra for every dish, the boullabaisse required us to wear very fetching bibs, which was great fun. The wet wipes came in the form of a tablet in what looked like a candle holder and grew into wipes when the waiter poured water on them, magic! Each dish comes with a small pot of sauce which is poured over the dish and is supposed to add to all the flavours in the dish.
My partner went for the monkfish, which had fried crab which I stole from his plate it was delicious. Mine was the seabass with seafood risotto. Really hated the risotto and left it, the shrimps I felt too over powering imho.
On the down-side, I felt the restaurant was too light and clinical, with white tiled walls, it doesn't create a romantic atmosphere. In addition we ordered oysters as a second course which didn't appear, when we mentioned this, the waiter apologised and said these would be on the house and would arrive at the end of our meal. We then heard him get a telling off for offering this course for free and he came back and offered us four extra oysters instead. As it was at the end of our meal we were pretty full already at this point!
