Lucky us twice over! We got to stay at a great hotel ( hotel V ) and right next door we found this great, no frills restaurant. It was packed with locals so we had a short wait at the bar for the next available table which was no hardship as we sampled a delicious white wine ( Sauvignon Blanc ). The two ladies serving are just lovely. There's no written menu, so listen hard. We each had fresh, soft pate and then a steak and a lamb rump, followed by warm pear tart. It's wooden tables and paper napkins so if you're expecting 5 star you'll be disappointed, but if you're expecting the freshest of good food, get there early.
