The best we can mention is that the hotel was very well located in the heart of Amsterdam and the breakfast service was ok but too short, only from 8 to 9:30. The room we got was in the basement, with a freezing bathroom that had no warming system and extremely small. The bed was awful, with a sagging mattress. On top of that, we had no remote control for the TV because "previous guests" had taken them (that was the explanation we got). So, we had to change channels the old way! Housekeeping was at 6 or 8 p.m., not before, and it meant replacing the towels and emptying the trash cans. The bed was never made during my three-night stay. I could call it a dump. I paid the same rate for a hotel in Florence and the results were dramatically different. I would only recommend it to young people who are more interested in partying than in comfort.
