This hotel is just perfect. I see a lot of nit picking going on throughout this page, but in all honesty I cant fault this hotel in any way. From arrival, the reception staff Lara, and Pricilla were so friendly and informative. Very bubbly and homely.
The hotel is beautiful, and room was IMMACULATE.
Booked through Last Minute & got a great rate.
As for Amsterdam, It is extremely cold (Stayed 2nd week in January) lots of layers required and even at that it is still bitter! Hats Scarfs gloves a necessity. The city is beautiful and lots to see and even a meander along the streets is a perfect way to pass an afternoon.
Shopping is great = Abercrombie & Fitch, H& M and lots of good high street stores.
Nightlife also good, Mulligans Irish Bar very cosy & great music the weekend we were in AMsterdam, with the locals proving very friendly.
The price of alcohol is quite expensive though... Pint of Beer €5.80, Spirit from €4 to €5 per measure.
Done the Blue boat canal cruise, lovely to see all the canals, but not very informative ,and didnt really pass any of the hotspots that you could view - Anne Frank, Dam Sq etc.
TO Finish, hopefully I will get back to Amsterdam for a weekend break, and without hesitation be stayin in the APOLLO Museum Hotel, 5 stars to this hotel.
