Excellent location close to the tram. Easy to find. Host Jasper is extremely helpful and has thought of every detail. Great welcome gift of beer ,wine, nuts and cheese and soft drinks and snacks which was topped up daily. Huge room and bed and shower was huge also. Room cleaned to a very high standard. Great t.v channels available. Would definitely stay here again.

My friend and I recently participated in the first international pickleball tournament held in Amsterdam...a 5 minute walk from B&B Adriaen van Ostade...perfect location in a tranquil, safe location...yet not far from other major attractions. Even though the spacious room, fully stocked kitchen and refrigerator (including wine and beer), modern bathroom, charming balcony overlooking the quiet, interior courtyards, much appreciated amenities (laptop, WiFi, umbrellas, microwave, superior coffee machine, egg cooker, radio/alarm clock, travel books and maps and more) are far more than you'd expect to have in a bed and breakfast, Jasper was the "true find." He is kind, friendly, patient, informative, accommodating, flexible...with a perpetual smile that makes you feel welcomed in his "home." His ultimate goal is to please you, the traveler. What more can one ask for??

If you choose the option of having breakfast in the room (15 euros/ 2 people/ day), Jasper delivers fresh bread/bakery products each morning to your room (outside your door, the bag is hung on the handle). This price/day also includes all the other food items (meats, smoked salmon, cheeses, fruits, veggies, hummus, eggs, sweet treats/cookies, dried fruits and nuts, coffee and tea, soft drinks, fresh squeezed juices, condiments, and more!). It's a GREAT deal...no need to eat out...unless you wish to. If you want to supplement that food supply, there is a main grocery store very close by. There are also many cafes within a few block radius of the B&B.

I should also mention that the king size bed was extremely comfortable with separate comforters and multiple pillows. The large room will also accommodate a twin size cot (extra daily fee). The room has a sitting area with 2 chairs, tables, lap top, and flat screen TV and a small kitchen table with two chairs. The area feels like a studio apartment.

The beauty of this B&B is that you feel as if you are "living" in the neighborhood and not just "touring" AND major sights are easily accessed by foot or public transportation. I would DEFINITELY return to this B&B and plan to share my experiences with anyone who travels to Amsterdam. I look forward to next year's pickleball tournament in Amsterdam!!

Great B & B, will definitely return. Yes stairs are a bit steep, just need to take a bit of care. Jasper was an excellent host. Room was big and it was fab to be able to sit out on the balcony using the free wifi. Great neighbourhood, felt safe, even late at night. Nice restaurants, chilled out atmosphere and 3 very friendly coffee shops in the area if that's your thing. Very good supermarkets nearby and wasn't too far from the tram or if you don't mind walking you could be at dam square in 15 mins. After a day of walking about coming back to a fridge full of cold heinekens was the icing on the cake, thanks Jasper!

We stay at B&B Adrian van Ostade only for 4 nights from 4th till 8th of May.
Very big room (I say - studio) with balcony and a lot of facilities - notebooks, printers, WiFi, kitchens machines and so on.
Super stuff !!!
All inclusive in a 1 km of a center of of Amsterdam !
A balcony with a look to silence yard where you can rest !
A lot of beer, snacks, etc in refrigerator. Every day cleaning !
Silence at night !!!
All mentioned above only for 120 euro per night.
Highly recommended !

I like this one the most of all my Netherlands business trip.
Ok, location wise obviously it is not the best, you need to walk for 5 minutes to the nearest tram.
But in a good way, you are spared from all the noises especially if you are someone who like quietness.

The owner placed a bottle of wine in the room and it is on the house.
And so is everything else in the fridge.
The owner is super friendly. It was my first trip in Netherlands and he spent 1/2 an hours of his own precious time to explain the country the road the system the attraction to me.

As mentioned the room is huge, Amsterdam is not famous for big rooms but this is BIG.
There is a living room upstairs and you can use the computer all you want.
Or you can read books sit on the couch.
It feels very much like home.

Balcony room. Excellent accommodation at a very affordable price and with No hidden charges. Recommend ordering a breakfast too (this is just an extra 15 euros per room). The room was very big and very clean with the perfect amount of amenities. Separate wc and shower room which were also cleaned daily. From the moment we walked in we were warmly welcomed by Jasper who has excellent local knowledge and was very happy to help. This b&b is situated in a very trendy area of De Pijp with lots of places to eat and drink in and is only a 30 minute stroll into the city centre or a 10 minute tram ride. There is also a huge open street market a couple of roads up which is definitely worth a look. I would 100% recommend this b&b and will visit again.

This is the only place I would stay on a return trip to Amsterdam and will not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family.
I stayed in the 'top room' for 2 nights during a weekend stopover in Amsterdam. It's a spacious and well equipped room with a very comfortable bed, large openable windows, good heating, spacious wardrobe, ensuite bathroom, coffee maker, sink, fridge, satellite TV and safe. The best bit about the 'top room' is that it's adjacent to the living room which is shared with the people staying in the other rooms at the B and B and where breakfast is served if you choose to take that inclusion. It also has a comfortable lounge area, TV, library, espresso machine and well equipped kitchen.
I didn't take the breakfast option but I saw it laid out for others and it looked fantastic.
The host Jasper is very friendly, considerable, helpful, and non-intrusive (he lives in another building close by).
I love the De Pijp neighbourhood. I really felt like a local coming and going from this B and B and exploring Amsterdam from this base.
Can't wait to come back!
