I had an apartment in Prinsengracht, just around the corner and I regret I had discovered this place only during my last two days in Amsterdam. I learned that the best food to good comes from such Italian small diners, like "Delle Alpi" in Copenhagen for example, it's quick and furious as "ordinary" fast food but it tastes great as in an old school restaurant. It seems that there are Italians all over the world and that they promote their cuisine at its best.
I ate here only two days in June and I still miss their gnocchi di patate, their lasagna and their crusty rybread. And tiramisou! And home made nougat.
You can buy dried tomato in oil, cheese, salami etc.
Gnocchi di patate with nutmeg and pancetta and basil... So delicious!
