“MODERN, CLEAN WITH A VERY GOOD VIEW”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2013

The hotel is modern with big bedrooms, much bigger than the average in Amsterdam. It is excellent for businness trip, reception is opened 24h. High floor bedrooms permit an amazing view of Amsterdam skyline. Hotel has cheap rates even if the breakfast service must be improved and there is a bit to much smell in the corridors.

We found the hotel very good. A bit of a journey by tram but number 14 stop is a couple of minutes from hotel. T he breakfast had a very good choice hot and cold. A bit of a wait sometimes for the lift if you are on a high floor. Bedroom a great size and very comfortable. All in all we would recommend.

Room Tip: Go for the lower floors.

The hotel was very good. The hotel staff was nice and helped with any request.
The only problem was that the hotel is a little bit far from the city center, BUT, 3 bus lines stop next to the hotel, including night bus, and 2 trem lines. Moreover, there is a metro station not far from the hotel. So with the multi-day ticket, it's not a problem.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my daughter. Hotel was easy to find. Tram 14 or bus 21 from Central station. Get off at Bos Lommerplein (don't mistake for Bos Lommerweg which is 2 stops before). Cross road and go down side of KFC, past the supermarket and bank and turn left hotel entrance is there. We arrived at 9.30am and our room was all ready.Room was clean, warm and comfy. The shower was brilliant. Only down side was hairdryer worked for about 1 minute at a time then you had to leave for a few mins before you could use it again. Took 3 attempts to get my hair dry. Reception staff very friendly. Needed to call down when we arrived as previous occupiers had closed the safe, receptionist came straight up to reset the combination. Didn't use the restaurant but smelt lovely.

Good for location, just jump on the tram/bus straight into the centre. Rooms we're clean etc… very good value for money. Didn't eat breakfast or anything…. lobby a bit bizarre. Staff we're helpful at the reception… not much more I can say about this hotel

The staff here are excellent! The nearest tram stop is just around the corner and is only a 15 minute ride into the centre. There are also night buses if you're going out. Rooms spotlessly clean and comfy, no noise disturbances at all!
Amazing value for money for such a fab hotel!
