We stayed at Fusion Suites over valentine’s weekend. The Fusion Suites is in an excellent location, on a quiet street with some of the best looking house frontages in Amsterdam, so it’s worth stopping and looking round. From outside it seems very normal but once inside the luxury begins, from candle creation in the hallway to very impressive rooms. We opted for a Grand Suite which offered a living area with a clever screen, which divided the room into living and bedroom areas. The internet service in the room was a great idea even though we only used it to check in for our return flight. The inclusive drinks in the room were also a good idea so we could have a glass of wine while getting ready to go out and cold soft drinks or water in the morning. Breakfast, which we could have taken at any time, was served in their beautiful kitchen with everything on offer including a good selection of Dutch foods (I loved the Chilli cheese). Shamila, the owner, was very friendly offering good conversation with a happy personality without ever becoming intrusive.
Everything at the Fusion Suites is of a high quality and very clean and is worth every penny (or eurocent). The style of the suite reminded me of One Devonshire Gardens in Glasgow which is one of my favourite hotels.
