Compared to two other B and Bs that I stayed in during this trip this was by far the most expensive yet the least enjoyable. In fact there was no enjoyment factor at all at this one. The place was tired and like a relic of the sixties (including rusty cutlery!) the bed felt damp, the breakfast was basic and to add insult to the already bad experience that had enveloped me I was told I had to make my own drink to go with the meagre breakfast. This place is on two levels(and does actually state that it is not suitable for disabled people) with a very narrow, metal, spiral staircase - anyone with young children would really struggle and the elderly would probably be unable to access the toilet and wash facilties. Oh yes, did I mention that the toilet was within the confines of an area that doubled as the bathroom sink and kitchen sink with the tea and coffee making facilities in there too! The TV was not working properly, the electricity was faulty, the internet did not connect and the towels were about the same quality that I use for my dog. If this kind of quality appeals to you then this is the place for you but if you like a good quality experience and value for your hard earned cash it's another door elsewhere that you need to be knocking on.
