We paid about $300 per night for three nights at the Grand Hotel Amrath in Amsterdam. I was worth is to us. Our room was fairly large with a view over the city center. Our room included a stocked mini-fridge at no additional charge. The service was excellent. Whenever we called for any type of room service, the answer was "I will bring it to you right away." Each staff member took personal responsibility to make sure you were taken care of. The exterior and interior architecture took you back to the early 1900s - art deco. The registration was done in an office - not at a counter. The location is very good. Close to both the central rail station and the center of the city. If this hotel is within you budget, I would recommend it.
