The hotel is perfect if you are looking for something basic and budget. BUT, even though it is basic,(bed, bathroom towels), it is neat, clean, quiet and central. The mattresses is firm and inviting, pillows perfect to sleep on. And everything else is clean, neat, white and worm. The bathroom is so neat and clean. Everything is working, and the water pressure is invigoratingly strong. The best shower and bath I have had in a long time. The personnel is friendly and helpful. And is Martin is on duty at reception, you've strike jackpot. He is the perfect example of professional, friendly and extremely helpful. I will take a trip to Amsterdam, just to go and stay in the Mozart Hotel

Very nice small hotel in centre of Amsterdam , near to Leidsplain but not close enough to hear and late night noise. This hotel appears recently renovated, and like all Amsterdam small hotels , is compact. The room I was in was large compared to other hotels and the en-suite bathroom was generous by comparison. Overall this hotel is excellent. It is compact but bright and clean. The lift, the corridor, the stairs are all bright, clean and nicely decorated. The room I had, was 406 and it was roomy, clean, big enough flat screen tv, wifi . the bathroom was spacious, clean and stocked with clean towels. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and provided 24 hour cover. Overall I was impressed with this small boutique hotel and the location was the icing on the cake. I have no doubt , I will return.

Room Tip: Single occupancy , room 406 is great.

The hotel rates well for location and price, but other than that, don't really hold your breath. As many hotels in Amsterdam, it has a "no smoking" policy and sure enough someone tested it one night I was there setting of an alarm at 3 in the morning that was enough to wake the dead. Absolutely no luxury, good place to crash if crash you must, but even as frugal as I am and not in need of fancy, I would look hard before staying there again. It was clean, basic, and pretty run down. Wish I could be more positive.

Staying in this hotel was not bad for me once I was alone and would stay only one night. Its location is perfect: short walk from several museums and restaurants and the price very affordable. However I would not recommend this place for families, couples or anyone staying for more than 1-2 nights, once the rooms and beds are very small and cleanness is definitively not impressive.

The hotel was reasonable for a short stay, beds were comfortable enough and bathroom clean and tidy. Overall tidyness could of been better although didn't complain at the famous local produce being left in my bedside drawer, maybe a welcome from the hotel in the form of lazy cleaners.

The location is good being close to Leidseplein and one of the best coffee shops is only yards away (Easytimes) as well as some decent restaurants close by. Dam square was a short walk with several stops of course, or hop on a tram.
