“Small but central place to stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago

The place is pretty small but the staff at the counters are very nice and hospitable. The room are small but adequate. The linen is very clean there is tea and coffee in the room., beds are comfortable and well kept.
It is better to look for the room facing the road and the canals.
Break fast is pretty nice and well served by the staff.
I had left my suit in the hotel the staff was promt to send it to the airport by taxi. That i s kind of service one is appreciative about. Great .

Room Tip: Facng the road for better view.

From the charming, friendly young man on check in, and all the rest of the staff, to the comfy beds, nice clean room and excellent location, this hotel has a lot to recommend it. It's not five star, and doesn't pretend to be, but it's very safe, the rooms are nicely decorated, and breakfast was particularly good. Except you can't make your own toast, but the staff are happy to make it for you. Good selection of teas, too. Plus free tea in the lobby.
Only issue was the iffy wifi, but considering the pros, like being so close to the station, having an attached bar/restaurant (no, not cheap, but at least we didn't have to go out in the rain) with similarly friendly staff, I'd stay there again.

Room Tip: Some rooms are bigger than others, so might be an idea to ask for a look first.

Three couples visited here 1 night on Friday evening as an extra stop over on out ferry trip too amsterdam. The moment we stepped into reception it was a pleasant experience. The rooms were spotless, modern, fresh. The usual facilities, tea/coffee kettle, hairdryer, tv , the toiletries were an unexpected bonus. The room was ideal for a couple. Adequate room, warm and the breakfast was very good. Continental meats, fruit, yoghurt, scrambled eggs, toast, etc so plenty of choice. No complaints. Due too it being an old building the space was a little tight in dining room but that doesn't matter. It was a brilliant stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.the no 4 tram from central station takes u straight too the hotel and they run frequently, so ideal location. Round the corner from the open market and that was an amazing find, good prices and plenty of nice items.

We stayed here for one night only, and for the one night it was adequate. The room was very small, cramped with no wardrobe or anywhere to hang our clothes. It was however very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful, no coffee/tea making facilities in the room.
The positive side was that we were only staying the one night, and it had an excellent city centre location, a 10 minute walk to Anne Franks House, and a mere 2 minute walk from the Central Train Station. Having such a good city centre location was not cheap and cost us 160 euros for the one night. This did not include breakfast although there was a café outside which is part of the hotel which serves breakfast although again not cheap. City location so city prices.

Room Tip: I think they will all be much the same size and style. we had one facing out onto the main road and...
