I read most of the reviews before we got out there and so quite happy with the end product.

We arrived a few hours earlier and found it closed, came back a while later and were shown to our room.

Room was decent, ceiling did leek a tiny bit and the stairs to the bathroom and to the room itself were a bit dodgy for minds under the influence.

Was next door to whore house but that provided more comedy than hassle.

Great location and no problems from owner.

We stayed at Farah guesthouse on the 21st of October and it was awful.
We booked the night before through the internet and mentioned that we would be checking in around noon.
We took an overnight train from Berlin to Amsterdam so we did turn up early, around 9am, but we thought we could drop our luggage at the guesthouse, and look around until checkin.

When we knocked on the guesthouse door, there was no reception, and the guy who worked there knew nothing of our booking! He had to call the owner who also knew nothing of our booking, and they wouldnt let us in! We had to go to an internet cafe to print the reservation details to prove we had a booking!

Even after all that, we were not allowed on the premises until we paid upfront. Unfortunately we needed to go to the ATM as the guesthouse doesnt accept credit cards, so the worker actually accompanied us to the ATM to ensure payment!

The room itself was at the top of very narrow stairs which reeked of pot.

Overall it was a horrible experience, I don't recommend this place to anyone!
