Greta place to stay in the centre of amsterdam, five minutes from Central Station and within easy walking distance of Central area. On a main road but our flat, the attic flat, was at the back of the house so there was no noise at all, some nice views of the rooftops ovet the old district. Well equipped with everything, nice comfy beds with nice linen.
The attice flat is at the top of the building set over three levels with typical amsterdam steep/ vertiginous stairs in between so a bit of care is needed, especially if you have been out and about enjoying the nightlife, or even just having a cup of coffee and cake. The top bedroom is a bit small, the downstairs big enough with plenty of cupboard space. Living room is very spacious and light with a really really really comfy sofa, TV and souhnd system which and it's nice just to chill out and listen to some music.
The owner lives across the hall but is very unobtrusive and very helpful
