After reading horrible reviews about the hotel i was booked into originally, i decided to cancel and look for a B&b. When i contacted Barangay, they told me they had no b&b space, but there were 2 apartments they had available for 2 nights each. For the first two nights, we stayed in Pieter's apartment, which was fantastic. Great location, really cool apartment (talk about steep stairs!) and as nice as you could want.
The last two nights we moved to Anton's apartment, which was also nice. Not as nice as Pieters, cause we felt a bit uncomfortable staying in an apartment that someone lives in most of the time, but still in a great location and couldn't complain about a thing.
Wimmo and Godwin were great. They gave us maps to the city, and advised us which restaurants to eat at (Season's was very tasty) and interesting things to do. Their overview of the city was very helpful.
I'd highly recommend staying in the apartments they let out. It made for a great trip.
