The Collector is a three bedroom B&B. My wife and I stayed for a week while I attended a conference. The rooms are very large and comfortable, with two at the back overlooking a garden and the other facing the street, which is the one we had. Each room has a small balcony. The street noise on the largest bedroom is not at all bad, but can be blocked out by a double door on the balcony. The inn is in the museum district -very convenient.
The bath was sparkling--very new and clean.
The name of the inn comes from the large number of collections in the rooms and in the halls. Our room had a pottery collection and about thirty old alarm clocks. No trouble waking up on time if you were to set them!
The innkeeper Karel Poels is very helpful and friendly and really goes beyond what would normally be expected.
The B&B has a kitchen on the same level as the rooms with a large food variety available to fix your own breakfast. There is a grocery very near and occasionally we bought our food there and used the kitchen to fix other meals. The kitchen is well equipped.
The price is reasonable and we were extremely happy there.
