“Convenient location, simple place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2014

This hotel is nice for a short stay. It is at a good location, and as I was biking across Amsterdam, it was quite convenient to go anywhere from this point- to all the stores(for my work) as well as the main tourist attractions. The staff is cheerful and extremely helpful(I interacted with Simone). The weather got suddenly very chilly during my stay, but the room was comfortable and warm for me.
Simple, clean and slightly quiant, overall a great place!

This hotel is close to the main attractions and is a short bus ride and 5 minute walk from the airport. The room is small and our room (number 17) could have done with a dust. We stayed for four nights from the 27th July 2014. On the 28th, the whole month of July's rainfall fell in a few hours. Our room was on the top floor and began to leak through the ceiling onto the carpet which became very damp. We informed the staff who said they would look into it, although there was little they could do due to the heavy rainfall. They didn't apologise. On our last night, there was a group that were staying in the other rooms on the same floor. They were noisy and played music at 11pm. In the early hours of the morning, one of the group knocked on our door and we were not impressed. Nevertheless, this hotel is comfortable, but is average in every way. The breakfast is good value and would recommend having that every day.

I would definitely stay here again. Very friendly and helpful staff. Teeny but adequate rooms. Great location! Walking distance to many museums, Dam square, red light district, restaurants and stores although quiet at night. Great little find!

This is a very nice and quiet hotel not far from museums, centrum and the nightlife. Walking distance to almost everything. The staff on this small hotel was very caring friendly. We stayed for three nights in a fine and clean room. Having air condition during these warm days (28 degrees) was fantastic. Wd will stay here also during our next visit to Amsterdam

Room Tip: We stayed in room #2.

The hotel is good value for money. In a former house, rooms are very small, but reasonably clean. It is conveniently located 5 minutes walking from Leidseplein, which is a major interchange for buses and trams towards the old city, central station and the airport, and it is about 15 minutes walking from the Rijks and Van Gogh museums. We found the wi-fi to be extremely weak in our room, being difficult to connect at all. Staff was kind, and they have a convenient bike rental scheme, with bikes in good condition.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Rooms are quite updated and seem clean. The room has fridge, waterboiler, TV and aircond. The room size was actually impressive. Quite central but because of rain we took the tram. If weather is nice: rent a bike from the hotel - really easy and great way to see the beautiful city! Only negative: housekeeping did not refill soap and cups, and some noise outside/thin windows.
