Very good location, about 15 minutes form Dam's place. Rooms are small and not so clean. Walls are so thin that you can hear you neighbours and people on the stairs. Friendly service but no breakfast served.

Friendly staff? You must be joking! The cat was by far the friendliest living thing at the hotel! The room was vile, graffiti on walls and resembled what a prison cell might look like. The window wouldn't close and the bed was positioned right underneath it. Went to tell the 'friendly' staff who said the maintenance man wasn't there?! The heating wouldn't come on and what with the window permanently open was absolutely freezing. Had to go to bed in my coat. The shower/toilet facilities were appalling. Throughout the night you could hear loud banging and shouting from outside the hotel, so getting a decent nights sleep was out of the question. Staying here definitely ruined my weekend and Over all, for 3 nights i paid £300 for the room and would have rathered taken my chance with a hostel.

Room Tip: Dont Bother! Look elsewhere!

Great service and the people working there is very helpful and nice. The standard isnt that good but for me it didnt matter since I only sleep at the hotel. So it was good enough for me.
The beds are from IKEA and are comfortable to sleep in. The cleaning works fine and they clean every day if you want them to.

the hotel was awful, located in a smelly lane. Room toilet was smelly and the toilet door wouldnt lock, the water from the bath would also leak into the room. The chain lock for the door was broken. Reported all these problems to the service desk but they never helped. Left the hotel after 1 hour.

When we arrived we were "greeted" by a man behind the door titled reception, he peered round the door and asked if we had a reservation. He asked for ID from the 3 of us and shut the door. He returned with our ID and keys for the rooms and said "top floor" hardly a pleasant welcome from the "the nicest and friendliest hotel in Amsterdam" as quoted on their website.

The rooms were tiny, dirty, had exposed wiring, one bed was broken, the window fell off the hinges when opened and we were provided with 2 hand towels in a double room while my friend in the room next to us had bath and hand towels.

The shared "bathroom" was disgusting, it was dirty the door didn't shut properly, the tap in the sink didn't work and the shower was cold.

There is supposed to be WiFi throughout the building however as you go up the stairs it decreases and when on the top floor there is no WiFi at all.

One of the 2 rooms we had booked was infested with bed bugs. When we complained the staff were not concerned by this. We were given another room and this was no better than the first. When we complained again on our check out, we were told that there was nothing she could do and that we could phone the manager tomorrow if we wanted as he didn't work weekends.

I have also now got a bed bug infestation in my own home because we have brought the bugs back with us. I am now having to pay to get my house fumigated.

This is the worse place I have ever stayed.

Room Tip: Do not go to this hotel.
