Thank you Peter for being such a welcoming and generous host! We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Boogaard's; the room was spacious and beautifuly decorated, the huge breakfast every day kept us going until dinner time, the expert advice guided us to the best sites, but most of all the company was top notch! Was sad to leave and would go back in an instant. As for the dogs, Pepe was adorable and we wanted to take Curly home! Would recommend to anyone, thanks again!

Peter (the owner) emailed us with easy instructions on how to get from the airport to his home. Was an easy walk even with our luggage.
The home is set on a quiet street which was great for sleeping but yet only blocks away from the action. We could walk to wherever we wanted to go but Peter also gave us great instructions for catching the tram to get around.
He also advised us on the best times to go see some of the museums that turned out great, not long waits in line at all.
Then he always made us want to come back home with what treats he would have in store for us that evening, he is a marvelous cook! Breakfast was totally different every morning and the table set perfectly, we had so much fun visiting and enjoying our accomodations... this beats a hotel any day!
I want to go back!!! Thank you PETER!!

If you want to get a feeling, how Amsterdam really is: Come to Boogard's!

Peter is a very very pleasant company, takes care of his guests in a highly sincere and friendly manner. The rooms are not so large (as the amsterdam house are :-), but arranged extremly tasteful and you can share a lovely living-room with kitchenette (free coffee, drinks, tea) with the only other guestroom on the floor. Housekeping everyday, comfy bed, best breakfast made by Peter himself (cakes, even with a pancake-day!!)

The authentiy ansterdam house is situated in a quiet street between single and heren gracht on the joordan site. 9 minutes away to Central Station, few minutes to all trams and sights.

We are sure, we will come back to Boogards.

We recently spent 4 nights at Boogaard's B&B in the course of our first visit to Amsterdam. This is a unique and delightful home-away-from-home, well located near the center of town and a short walk from the Centraal Station. Peter is a marvellous host and a walking tourist guide for Amsterdam. He was an incredible source of information. His two Jack Russell terriers, Pepe & Curley, are charming & well loved. An accomplished cook, he served us wonderful, huge breakfasts each morning. He also provided us with a laptop computer, all day snacks, and made us feel like family. At €100/night this B&B is a bargain.

When we return to Amsterdam, which we surely will, Boogaard's will again be our choice of a place to stay.
