We enjoyed this hotel very much, the week we stayed on the third floor we didnt hear or see any other guests, very quiet and good atmosphere. We had a canal view room which was excellent. The room was clean, bright and well furnished and good size, bed was comfy.
We ate once in the hotel restaurant preferring to eat all our other meals elsewhere. There are very good Italian and meditarrean restaurants nearby.
The hotel was a couple of minutes from the tram stop.
The hotel was used by aircrew as well.
The room had a half bottle of red wine, fruit and nuts and gummy bears which was topped up, we were given a half bottle of champagne on arrival.
Only down side virtually no storage space for clothes.

This hotel was booked without a breakfast, considering the price I paid and the state of the room, I should have had breakfast included to call it a good experience, since we didn't, I felt it overall as mediocre.
While checking in I felt that showing my passport, and reservation print-out should've been enough, but I was given a form to fill, with again all my details and signature.
When asking about this, I was told it was for security. This is something the hotel is very good at, no access to the elevators unless swiped by the room key.

Plusses :Free wifi, Free ice machine in the hall, good bed, good darkening over curtains, good modern TV, mini bar could be a plus for some, I was annoyed with how small it was and I really couldn't use it for myself as a fridge, location is really nice. Modern big showerhead, good mirrors, plenty of them. Heater is good. Lighting good, several lamps available.
Staff seems very friendly.

The room has clearly seen better days, I do take into consideration that it is Amsterdam and some people might have partied hard here.
Nevertheless, huge holes in the sheer curtains , cracked bathroom sink WITH burn marks, The ice bucket has a moldy little strainer in the bottom, feels healthrisky .. stains on the walls of drink dripping down and drying up, drillholes of a previous fitted tv set not filled up, a bath in the room and they provide NO bath foam, but they do provide shampoo , shower gel and body lotion plus a little soap. Very slow elevator, and we were on the first floor, but taking the stairs isn't an option as it leads to an emergency exit which we didn't use as we were worried about triggering an alarm. I noticed there was no electrical ventilation in the bathroom, so steam and maybe odors won't be gone without opening the door to the room. Doors aren't wiped down.I think this hotel wants to portray themselves as a high class hotel, but they clearly aren't.

The hotel staff are very welcoming and answer any questions you may have. Hotel has advanced security systems installed with private access for guests. The restaurant and bar area looks very pleasant and classy. The rooms are spacious, clean, modern. There are all the necessary amenities such as; fridge ( stocked with usual bits), hair dryer, bbc 1&2 and a couple of English Channel, free wifi. Would recommend this hotel,

Ideally located for the museums, less than five minutes walk, this is quiet hotel on a canal away from the hustle and bustle of the bars of central Amsterdam. It is still well connected with a tram stop just around the corner which serves trams that go right through central Amsterdam to the main station.

Our room was clean and a good size though a little dated in appearance. Free WiFi was available in the room. We managed to check in at 12pm too which was a nice plus.

We stayed in this hotel for three nights. The staff were very welcoming and looked after us when we needed them to. The room was an excellent size and very clean. Location wise this was perfect, near enough to access everything in the city but far enough to feel away from it if you want to. A short walk from a tram stop, the area itself is lovely to walk through and near to three amazing museums. Very well priced as well so well worth the money. We would definitely stay here again.

My Wife and I have just returned from a trip to Amsterdam. We stayed in the NH Museum Quarter hotel for four nights. We took the 197 bus from just outside Schiphol Airport,5 Euros paid to the driver (about a 20 min ride) and got off at the Museumplein stop.(the stops are shown and read out as the bus arrives at each one).Because it was dark when we arrived we did take a while to find the hotel although it wasn't far we relied on a friendly local to point us in the right direction.
We booked into the hotel and found all the reception staff to be very polite and efficient they offered us a discount rate for breakfast (15 Euros pp/day) which we accepted, The room card key also operates the lift from the ground floor.
Our room was on the 3rd floor very spacious with a large flat screen tv on which you could get BBC1 & 2. The beds were very comfortable, there was a mini bar, a safe and all the comforts that you would expect.
The breakfast was nice lots of fresh fruit, cereals, breads and pastries, there was limited hot food although you could request fried eggs, sausages, omelettes etc. We were pleased that we took the breakfast option as although there was other options close by and probably cheaper it meant that we didn't have to hunt around and we could start the day off sooner.
I think one of the best thing about this hotel is it's location. We purchased a 3 day public transport pass which means you can just hop on and off the trams as you like. The nearest tram stop to the hotel is "Ruysdaelstraap" (just walk back towards the canal & turn left) 5 mins from the hotel. This meant that as it was only 15 min's on either tram 16 or 24 from the centre of the city that you could go back to the hotel and relax or freshen up before dinner without having to put up with the hustle and bustle of the city centre..
There were some nice restaurants close by and we ate there on two occasions. The hotel did serve food in the evening but strangely didn't seem to advertise it,there were no menus on show and we had to ask behind the bar for one. We thought that this was a bit strange and would definitely advise the management to address this if they want people to eat here.
We would definitely stay at this hotel again, we found the staff to be friendly, the hotel very clean and spacious and the location excellent.

This hotel is very close to the museumplein (<5 min walk) with easy access to the Rijksmuseum and van Gogh museum. It's also close to the heineken experience which is good fun. The walk to the city center is longer (45min) but still very doable. The hotel is situated in a quieter part of Amsterdam, which was right up my alley. Lots of restaurants nearby and a 6 min walk to the bus to Schipol Airport. The room itself was a bit worn, but perfectly adequate, but I came for Amsterdam, not to sit in a hotel room. The staff was friendly and spoke perfect english. All in all a very pleasant experience and I would certainly stay here again.

Room Tip: Got lucky with a room on the 7th floor. Nice floor to ceiling windows with a great view of the city!
