Everything is included.. Breakfast is not just a thrown together buffet.. But rather a 5 star chef cooked brilliant meal.. And it was free. Wifi is free and fast.. this is a first. Location could not be better.. go left great restaurants go right great party and night life. This was our best stay over a 4 week trip..

This hotel is conveniently situated opposite the central station in the heart of the city. Check-in was thorough and friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There are some interesting exhibits throughout the hotel which probably is in the spirit of Amsterdam. The arty design of the hotel meant that the bathroom was designed without a door. Breakfast was good with a range of hot and cold food available. We tried dinner on our final night which was fairly tasty but a little expensive. There have been few city breaks that we have enjoyed as much and this hotel was central to our enjoyable stay over the Easter weekend. Furthermore we would recommend visiting Keukenhof flower fields during the tulip season.

Spend a long weekend at the Art'otel and the review is a bit difficult to conclude on a total rating.

The hotel itself is very nicely located in the center of Amsterdam, so easy walking to the Oldtown, the shopping areas, museums, ... The rooms are beautifully decorated in a modern contemporary style which I really liked. Rooms are of good size and shower and bathroom areas are well laid out and spacious.

The sauna is pretty large and there is a small pool and well equipped gym in the hotel, too. Note however, that you will have to go through the bar / restaurant area to access the Sauna / Gym area.

The bar area and restaurant area are also nicely laid out and designed.

While staff is generally very attentive and friendly, processes need some improvement, queues at checkin in can take quite a while. One of the disappointments I had was breakfast during peak times as clearly they are understaffed to manage the amount of people going to breakfast (quite some waiting, and refills of the buffet was slow, e.g. no fresh food prepared for 10 minutes, croissants took 15+ min to be refilled on Saturday, ...). Given the price of the hotel I would expect a lot smoother service during breakfast, but hope they will manage to get this fixed in the future.

Room Tip: Make sure you request a room away from the elevator

When in-room breakfast is ordered for 6.30 it should not arrive 6.50 - Both times I ordered in room breakfast it was 20 minutes late and once half the order was missing If breakfast is inclusive & the hotel is 5 star it does not match to offer free fresh orange juice but charge €6 for apple juice Overall the breakfast was very nice, but not near 5 star. The Illy coffee is a taste thing, but neither I nor my visitors could drink it as it was too bitter. Of the 50+ TV channels there is not one international news channel. No CNN, No BBC World. Hotel does not bring the paper of your choice to your room and there is no FT. Be lucky to get an international paper at the table in front of the restaurant. Personnel is all nice, but not well trained. Trying to be hip and friendly and would fit well with a 3 star property. Valet parking is offered for €25 a day, but it takes 20-30 minutes to get the car and at times they forget the car was ordered for a certain time. I was late once as my car was not ready and I had to wait 25 minutes. Bar is overly expensive. But bartender is great. If you want to be 5 star for business then please train your staff, offer all inclusive breakfasts, have international news stations and papers provided, remember to have the cars ready and deliver breakfast on time.

First time I visit an art'otel. You see the diference at the check in. Very friendly English speaking people helps you with everything in a modern art style. This hotel is more than sleeping and eating. It is an experience to stay here. I 'm not sure I will come back to this hotel, but for sure, I will talk about it and recommend it to all the people who want to plan a visit to Amsterdam.

Room Tip: we took a room at the back side of the hotel : you see nothing but it is very quiet.

I stayed at the popular Art'Ohotel for 3 nights and 4 days between 29th August - 1st September 2014. The hotel is located within a minute walk from Centraal Station.

The interior of the hotel is very creatively & artistically done. From the reception desk to the lamps, all a work of art in itself.

The staff was very accommodating and helpful by guiding us to various locations and also giving timetables for the trains to other cities around `Amsterdam
We celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary & the hotel made all the efforts to make it even more special for us.

The breakfast served was very healthy and kept us full till the evening.

Overall we had a wonderful experience and would recommend this place to my fellow travellers..
