“Cannot fault this place”

Huge and stunning rooms, contemporary decor, excellent staff who are not too over-the-top or overly present, stunning views, incredible interiors and art everywhere. The only downside is the price but you get what you pay for. One of the best night's sleep I have ever had on a business trip, in one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept it. Definitely recommended and I will be back for my next work trip to Amsterdam.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the front for nice views. All have excellent sound insulation so you won't be...

I've just enjoyed my first stay in an Art'otel and what a pleasant experience it was.
The staff were particularly impressive, the best I've ever encountered in my regular hotel visits. They were really friendly without being overbearing and extremely helpful.
I really like the artistic theme, there's been real imagination and creativity invested in developing something different.
It's not all style with no substance though, the food was very good and the location's excellent, just opposite the station. I'd love to go back!

Every member of the staff we interacted with genuinely wanted to help and was authentically kind and friendly. Every one. We slept in an missed breakfast. It was 2 p.m. ( it's vacation). We were kind of hung over and in the mood for eggs so the hostess in their sunny restaurant asked the chef if he would reopen all the breakfast foods. He said sure no problem and made us an awesome breakfast. When I asked where the gym was, the security guard insisted on giving me a personal tour. The gym is very good for a hotel and he was proud to show me around. Room service breakfast was included ( we got up on time the other 2 days). It was truly outstanding. The room was a very pleasing and functional contemporary design and the beds were comfortable. The location is dead center of the canal district. That means there are alot of tourists around but you have the best of the canal district at your doorstep. Art 'otel was one of the best hotels I have stayed at in my life. I am 50.

A very good hotel right opposite Centraal Station.Though there are literally hundreds of hotels and hostels in the Centrum, this one is definitely classier than all others. I would recommend this hotel if the budget can stretch that far. The location is outstanding with walking distance to most places and the main tram and bus station right opposite.

Also a word of appreciation for the staff - They are very attentive and look after your needs very well indeed.

We stayed here during a 2-day visit to Amsterdam. The hotel is conveniently located across the street from Amsterdam Central Station.

The desk attendants spoke english well and were able to get us situated with maps and directions.

The amenities in the room were nice touches (complementary bottled water, robes, etc.).

Breakfast was OK.

Very modern , chic design.
Great rooms. Free breakfast, free wifi. Fantastic and helpful staff. Big thanks to Pritti at the front desk for all her help.
Our friends had a lost luggage issue, she kept calling the airlines for them and went out of her way to be of service.

It's not everyday that you stay in a hotel that would add to your intellectual value and artistic sense! The briliance of architectural renovation of a historic building done with surgical precission meets innovative interior design with great attention to detail all topped with a magnificent sculptural story about human revolution! Need I say more? Ok, ultra friendly staff, hip cafe, and central location.

Room Tip: connecting rroms work perfectly for families
