“Fabulous hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2014

I recently stayed at this hotel for 2 days with my daughter. We had a wonderful time and loved this hotel. Great location, clean spacious room with modern design. I could go on and on about thé incredible service. The staff was so helpful suggesting restaurants and assisting us with navigating thé city. The restaurant is also quite good with à vibrant scène. I look forward to returning to Amsterdam with my husband and staying at Hotel V!

This hotel is hidden away down a quiet street.

We had room 110 and booked through expedia which was a terrible experience (I'll come onto that later).

The bathroom was basic with just a shower. The bed was very comfortable but I had rips in my sheets which was a little disappointing. There was no noise which was lovely and the hotel was close to so many things.

We did not have breakfast included in our booking and when we arrived we asked about the breakfast but it was very expensive. There are very nice places where you can get breakfast nearby.

The booking through expedia was hassle being told by them that only a deposit would be charged, instead the whole amount was taken upfront. I have complained and received no response. When I called up I had very rude advisors. Book direct with the hotel.

The hotel is located at the center of Amsterdam, very close to the main attractions.
The rooms are very nicely decorated, modern, convenient and pampering.
The staff was very polite and responsive from online registration to handling our requests in real time.

As a VERY picky traveler, I must say this hotel was perfect in every way. Rooms were updated, clean and well appointed- not to mention spacious! While most hotels I have visited in Europe were closet-sized, our superior room fit three people comfortably, even with the roll-away bed. Our room also had a nice seating area as well as a desk- even so, we had plenty of space to spread out our luggage. Housekeeping was fantastic- fresh towels each day, with robes and slippers as well. The bathroom was modern and included a double shower with rainfall showerhead.

We walked all over Amsterdam and found this hotel to be easily within walking distance to every sight we had on our list. The staff was extremely friendly- remembered us by name and gave great suggestions on where to visit. The Lobby restaurant was perfect for a drink after a long day of sightseeing and the breakfast pancakes were amazing- we had breakfast here every day throughout our stay. We could not have asked for more!! I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We were 2 couples and stayed here in August 2014. The hotel is prefect on almost every count. The location is great, right in the centre of the wonderful city, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, the food in the Lobby restaurant is wonderful and the hotel is wonderfully designed. We would love to visit Amsterdam again and stay in this property which is absolutely worth every penny!

This hotel is a great find, in the heart of historic Amsterdam yet quiet and comfortable. The decor is stylish and funky with a great bar and restaurant. The staff is friendly and helpful. At the bar our waitperson was funny and vivacious that we felt we're going to have in this city and what FUN we had. I would highly recommend V Nesplein.
