WE had a very nice stay. This is very clean, very confortable , well decorated ...
The owners are very welcoming and very helpful to give you advice about your stay, what to see ...
We have loved the Breakfast, very nice, complete and was even different from one day to the other : perfect !
I am not surprised it is ranked 20th out of 200 B&B in Amsterdam, it is well deserved.
I do recommend.

One of the best B&B's we have ever stayed in. Odette's breakfasts were awesome and a great start to a day of exploring. There were museums and canals within walking distance and several restaurants and bars. We included tour and museum passes with our booking that was very helpful for a two day stay. The walk up to the 3rd floor was normal for Amsterdam but the stairs were wider than normal and Odette's husband was so helpful in bringing up the luggage. We would love to return and stay longer to take in the sights of the area and enjoy the hospitality and friendly relaxing atmosphere at Helmers B&B.

This bed and breakfast is a must! Immaculate decor, great space and a gorgeous breakfast. Very impressed and will definitely be going back.We travelled in a party of eight, 5 adults and 3 children. We had use of a great kitchen and there are plenty of restaurants and a supermarket nearby. We hired bikes just around the corner for 11€ for 24 hours. Odette, the owner of the B and B, helped us plan our stay and recommended places to visit. Everything was perfect and the roof terrace was a favourite of ours, with amazing views and great seating. In good weather it's a perfect place for breakfast. It is situated near the Vondelpark, we enjoyed cycling around its paths and lakes. We visited nearby markets and it is in walking distance of everything!

My husband and I loved Helmer's. we were in Amsterdam just for an over night lay over, but had a lovely time there. Odette was so welcoming and friendly. She provided a delicious breakfast that filled us up before our long day of travel back to Canada, and the bed was the best we slept in our entire trip. The room was a bit noisy because of the street traffic but we live on a very quiet farm, and it was nothing a pair of ear plugs couldn't fix. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a cozy place to stay while in Amsterdam. I wish we had more that just one night there!

The B&B is very centrally located and easy to access the old part of town or restaurants and pubs nearby. There is even a bike rental place across the street so you can feel like a local!

Food was excellent and if you go in the summer, you can enjoy the rooftop patio with a great view of the city. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, definitely recommended!

We stayed for three nights with two kids and had the entire apartment to ourselves. The place is fantastic, in a wonderful neighbourhood. The hostess was very welcoming, accommodating, and and full of excellent suggestions. The rooftop terrace is a real plus and we enjoyed it very much.

Room Tip: That the stairs up to the apartment are steep. Didn't bother us but think about this if you have...

This B&B was truly a gem! Odette was very helpful and kind. My room was pristine clean, very cozy and there's a coffee/tea facility. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Bathroom and kitchen were clean too. She made my breakfast according to my dietary needs.

Transportation going there was easy, since a tram stop was just around the corner.
Restaurants/grocery store also nearby.

I will definitely stay here if I come to Amsterdam.
