Stayed here for 5 days in late March of this year. Location in the Jordaan and only a 10 minute walk from the train station. Check-in was easy and very helpful! Paul explained everything and gave us tips of where to go based on the couple questions we asked. Patricia was amazing in helping answer all of our questions prior to arriving.
The Living space has a king size bed, kitchenette with stove, mini fridge, sink, 2 burner stove, 2 large closets, table, and 2 chairs. This was perfect for the two of us. The bathroom felt large with double sinks and a separate space for the toilet. The deck was narrow but equipped with a bench for sitting with a sandwich and beer for boat traffic watching. The front of the boat also had a bench which was perfect for getting some sun and watching bikers and pedestrians walking by.
Everything was very clean and well kept up.
Location was amazing! You are directly across the street from Swieti Sranang - a wonderful Surinamese restaurant. We loved that there was a large market every Saturday and Monday for us to stroll through. On Saturday it was more farmers market oriented and Monday was more merchandise oriented. The food on Saturday was great to have and take back to the boat to enjoy. There are numerous bar/cafe's within a 5 minute walk also. There were 2 or 3 grocery stores within a 5 minute walk as well. Overall the location was off the beaten path so you felt like you were living in the city as a resident rather than just visiting.
