“Good sandwiches in nice café”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

Awesome little place on the East side of the Amsterdam city centre. They serve excellent thick cut sandwiches and good tea and coffee. Would definately recommend a visit if you're in this part of town.

“Nice, cosy lunchroom”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2013 via mobile

This tiny lunchroom is located outside Amsterdam centre, in one of the upcoming streets
Czaar Peterstreet. Direction Scheepvaart museum. Everything is freshly prepared on the spot. Especially their home-baked coconut cookies they serve with your cappuccino are outstanding. The price / value ratio is excellent. And an always friendly staff. This, together with the food makes it an always crowded place. So, don't mind waiting a bit or maybe you are lucky when people are just leaving. You can also buy their marmelades to bring home. This lunchroom has proven themselves already long time ago. A place not to miss!

“Delicious food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

I'm surprised no one has written for this place, as we were here twice on our recent trip to Amsterdam and it was pretty packed both times. It is a smaller restaurant just a short tram ride out from downtown in an up and coming neighbourhood near the Reitlandpark tram stop. The place was filled with locals and they have really nice all day breakfast and lunch options. Everything tasted so fresh, the brown bread was especially amazing and the espressos were great as well. The service was a little slow but other than that it was great! We definitely came back after having such a good meal the first time. The prices were very reasonable as well. Lunch for 2 including coffees was around 14 euro.
