“Great Hotel Top Quality and Service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2014

This Hotel was amazing!!!!! The hotel staff were brillant so helpful and polite. The hotels futuristic modern design was such a feature, we had a deluxe shower room which was very spacious and accomodating, a hotel room where you could hang out and have some down time. The only negative for this hotel is it is a little way out of the main part of town so be prepared to catch transport. Otherwise a great experience cant wait to go back!!!!

the most ideal location when you want to go a gig in the Ziggo Dome. they offer a shuttle service to the Dome, a lovely pre-concert drink (with finger food and sushi-thingie's) and a shuttle back when the concert is over!
In the morning a delicious breakfast, and... lovely rooms.
With that famous cilindric shower!

good staff, quick, good... great location/view over amsterdam btw!

enjoy!

ps: try the bar and the rooftop smoking area!

I spent 2 days in this hotel and it's all about design.
The rooms themselves are quite small. The transparent shower right in the middle of the room is a particularity.
The food is good and the restaurant at 17th floor offers a great view and ambiance.
Service is correct but not exceptionnal.
The weak point is the location far from the city, in the middle of nowhere.
There is no swimming pool which is disappointing for this range of hotel.

Room Tip: Try to get rooms above the 10th floor

Been here twice now - great for friends not uncomfortable with each other's bodies! Lovely picturesque bar, helpful reception and a nice gym. Helpful shuttle bus to the holendrecht station too. Will definitely be coming back.

Very 'artistic' and in a way beautiful hotel. Check in & checking out smooth and easy. Hotel room fine apart from the stupid coffee maker, would have preferred a small kettle. Also only one tiny container of cream for each person (You need two for each cup). The most annoying thing in the room was the energy saving toilet light which meant it was always going on and off whilst using the bathroom. To avoid paying the very high hotel car parking charge just park the other side of the barrier along the road, I'm puzzled why others did not do this. It was safe enough for the Porsche dealership to leave cars there so 'm sure my little hire car was perfectly safe. 10 minute walk to the station was a bit annoying but no big deal. All the roads around the hotel and many of those around the airport are brand new so update your sat. nav. or phone maps before leaving home.

Room Tip: Choose high room since it is near the lovely bar and away from traffic noise (Not that there was muc...

Great hotel if you can stay outside the city center. They have rental bikes, and it will take you 30min to bicycle into the city. Hotel is good standard. Great view from breakfast and restaurant on top. Wifi is good. Service was not top notch, but alright. No noise at all from other rooms!

2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2014 via mobile

I've stayed here many times for work (location is perfect for my office but not convenient if you are visiting Amsterdam on a trip for pleasure) and haven't had an issues. Beds are comfortable, staff has been friendly, the shuttle is very useful.
However, the last two times, I've been disappointed, in particular, my last trip. The trip before last, standards had already dropped. One receptionist looks pained to be in the hotel business and is far from friendly, I ordered room service at 9pm which arrived at 11pm, after I'd called to remind them and when I wanted to go to bed.
My most recent trip was a disaster and has out me off this place, unfortunately. Myself a group of my colleagues ate dinner here one night... Service was awful and so slow. They messed up our whole order, not a word of an apology and not even a smile and in the end, food was cold. We had to almost walk out of the restaurant just to get their attention to get the bill.
Same moody receptionist.
My TV didn't work so I called to tell them (saying that maybe it was me being stupid and not be able to figure it out). They said they would send someone and they did - 45 mins later (which was 11pm) and the way she talked to me like I was completely stupid when actually the remote wasn't working and neither were a few of the channels. She proceeded, in that slow "you obviously won't understand me" voice, to tell me how to change channels on the TV (ok... Thanks). Not convenient when the bed is not right next to the tele. She said she would try to find batteries and then come back. She didn't but I put that down to be late and she she wouldn't want to disturb me... Next evening, no sorted TV.
The good thing I can say about this trip is that my airport shuttle fell through and the kind gentleman at the reception took me to the airport in their own shuttle, which I really appreciated.
Will think twice about staying next time, which really is a shame.
