“Do NOT order the burger”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2015 NEW

This place is allright for drinks but the food is awful especially the Burger. It's hard to tell what kind of meat is in the burger, let alone determine if it actually is meat. Fries were very stale as if they had been sitting for an hour before being served. Fish was chewy. Dessert was good though but pricy. To summarize, drinks and desserts are fine, stay away from the food though

“Great atmosphere, service and food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2015

This Irish pub / restaurant was within a few minutes walk of our hotel. It can tend to get full and a bit noisy at the weekends, but is great during the week. There are large screens with sports if you want to watch, and the staff and very quick to see if you need serving. The drinks were good value and they serve draft Strongbow as well as Guiness and local beers. Their house wine is also good quality for the price.

We ate there once, having noticed lots of hearty meals being served. We both had the beef and Guiness stew and neither of us could finish it. It was very meaty, with lots of carrots, mushrooms, celery etc. in a really rich gravy. It was served with a small bowl of mashed potato and some Irish bread, which was lovely. I would definitely recommend this place for a good drink in a nice atmosphere, and a hearty meal after a long day walking round Amsterdam.

“Atmosphere, beer and rugby”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2015

Atmosphere, beer and rugby with friendly service, what more do you need. We had breakfast here a couple of years ago and it's was good then.

“very surprised by this place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2015

Stopped here to watch the footy and was hungry so after checking out the menu I opted for the rib eye steak at 16.50 euro,
it came with fries and vegetables with a steak/beef sauce.
I asked for the steam medium well and the chef got it spot on, I'm not a lover of rib eye but this slab of meat hit the spot, as did the sauce.

2 or 3 pints later. a bill of about 25euro for a few hours of decent food, a few beers and footy and I was a happy customer .
:)

“Great sports pub”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2015

I found this pub after leaving HRC around the corner. This was a great little pub. Wait staff were very attentive and friendly. I did not eat but the food looked excellent. Televisions everywhere. Will go back to catch a game and lunch.
