“Beautiful apartment”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2014

Absolutely gorgeous apartment . If you have ever stayed in Amsterdam in one of the Canal hotels such as The Toren then you will know that the rooms can be tiny. The Royal Canal Suite is huge by comparison and it's eclectic decor is lovely. Bright, romantic with an electrically adjustable bed, heated flooring in the bathroom, a bath and a shower along with complimentary snacks, prosecco and beer, you can't get better. A short walk from Anne Franks house and walking distance to the centre for the fit (if not the number 13 tram)and the little shops in the Jordaan district are great, it's a must. The only drawback are the stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, but well worth the climb! Lovely owner Ria lives opposite so any worries you can get in touch immediately.

Michel and Ria were lovely hosts for this wonderful apartment, so much nicer than beng in an impersonal hotel room. Everything you could need is provided, coffee machine, bottle of Prosecco on arrival, biscuits and chocolates. Fabulous room hung with Michele's original art, luxurious bathroom with shower/steam cubicle and huge bath. Lots of space, and a little balcony to watch canal life over.

This suite is perfectly located in the heart of Jordaan district. With the canal view, quiet surroundings and plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, you could hardly think of better location within walking distance to most of Amsterdam key attractions.
The suite itself is spacious and luxury equipped.
I highly recommend this place, it was one of the best I've stayed in.

Located in the very chic and up and coming charlotte district in amsterdam, this apartment is a real gem. Its a 10 minute walk into the centre of the city but worth strolling through the beautiful canals on the way.

The space and decor of the apartment has a very luxourious feel to it. You recieve champagne on arrival and we were quite surprised with the expresso machine, cans of beer, jar of olives, nuts and biscuits for free! Only slightly more expensive then the standard central hotels, you feel like you are in a five star holiday at a very affordable price.

Also the electric thermal beds will keep you warm if you visit in the winter!

We stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

Highly recommended for the romantic getaway!
