“A little place with a lot of flavor!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

Our host shared this little place with us and we waited for quite a long time to get our meal, but when it came it was very fresh and the food was delicious, they give large amounts as well. Would definitely eat here again!

“Superb!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

We would definitely recommend thai tiger. Everything about the meal was excellent. The quality of the food was great along with the service. We can safely say this was the best thai meal we have ever had. Thank you for an excellent evening.

“Bad service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013 via mobile

Visited on first night in Amsterdam. Bad service. Forgot our starters and brought everything out at the same time. Don't take anything but maestro card or cash. Very bad from house service. Very rude. I would not be back

“Not as good as we expected”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2013

We expected this place to be a good Thai restaurant, also because of many good reviews. Our experience was not great. The food was basic, though not very tasty. We make a better thai -style chicken soup at home, here the soup was OK but way too sweet. It seemed like the staff was not very experienced, it was chaotic and part of our order was forgotten. Overpriced, for what you get. There are better Thai restaurants in Amsterdam.

“Authentic Thai, quality ingredients, great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2013

I've eaten Thai food in the US about twice a month for several years and I've visited Thailand. The meal I had this summer at Thai Tiger in Amsterdam was the best Thai food I've had to date. Restaurants serving ethnic cuisines often adapt their dishes to the tastes of the local market, which unfortunately can mean that much of what makes the cuisine distinctive is diluted. Not so at Thai Tiger. The spicy dishes are spicy. No apologies. All the sauces have multiple taste-notes that allow you to enjoy multiple layers of taste and flavor. The vegetables are snappy. The seafood is fresh. The staff are attentive and conscientious, and the restaurant is located right next to a bus stop. Don't waste money on an average, boring Thai meal. If you're going to eat real Thai, eat at Thai Tiger.
