The co -worker who suggested I try Foodism highlighted the owner's dedication to his customers, and she was right. The space is small and tables are tightly packed. It is as though he is throwing a nightly block party and invited the neighborhood. As long as you do not object to a circuitous route around customers to the WC and the way that layout slows service a bit, then the rest of the experience is delightful. Foodism prides itself on freshly prepared small plates, but portions are not skimpy. It is influenced by the Serbian heritage of the proprietor, but the flavors are international and inventive. By the looks of things, patrons included old friends having a meal, first dates, and families celebrating a milestone. Such a great atmosphere and very reasonably priced. I will surely go again.
