This Holiday Inn is conveniently located, especially if you have a car. There is a parking lot near the hotel (on a first come, first served basis. 25 euros/night, which isn't bad for Amsterdam), other parking spaces around the hotel (significantly more expensive) and free street parking from Friday night till Sunday morning. Nothing interesting around the hotel (looks like a residential area. You need to take the tram to the city center, which is less than 20 minutes away..The tram stop is right by the hotel. The room was nice, except for the bathroom, which wasn't as clean as it should have been. I would have complained about it had I not checked in really late, after a seven-hour drive. I'm sure that if I had, the staff would have fixed the problem, because they seem to form a good, professional team.
