“Overrated tiny exhibition center”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2014

Because of the limited exposition space, this tiny photo exhibition center is far from worth the 12 Euro entrance fee. Not recommended!

“From Dianne Arbus to William Klein”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2014

This little exhibition space entirely dedicated to photo exhibitions often displays interesting exhibits such as 'William Klein' this winter. Displays never take more than a 30-45 min visit as museum is really tiny. Tickets are overpriced considering it is always a solo artist display. This is my fourth time at this cute little museum and every time i find there is no extra effort from curators to search for a diverse picture lay out. Artists may change throughout the years but the lay out is pretty amateurish and repetitive almost effortless. Ticketing staff is totally detached from the environment-as if they had been parachuted on site by chance. I advise for safety reasons and visitors enjoyment- especially during busy hours such as week ends- to time the entrance to smaller groups at a time to limit the crowd inside. As i said earlier the museum is really tiny and can become at times slightly claustrophobic.

“William Klein exhibition”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2014

We visited Jan 2014. The whole gallery has been dedicated to photos/art by William Klein. He certainly took a lot of photos. As always, 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder....... My wife thought it was great; I was less positive. I think a few smaller exhibitions by individual photographers would be better. The layout of the gallery is good; there is a cafe, good toilet facilities, and a self-service (ie 'insecure') cloakroom area.

“A european leader!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2014

Don't miss this Europe (or maybe worldwide) leading museum in the field of contemporary photography. All they present, from exhibitions to magazines or pop-up shops is perfect. Even their new UNSEEN photo-fair is one of the best fair existing in this field. 5stars are not enough.

“enjoyed”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2014

The two of us had a leisurely wander through the different exhibitions, enjoying the variety and historical perspectives on photography. We also enjoyed the small garden in the back. The docents or guards in most rooms are vigilant about tourists wielding their own cameras, warning them not to use them - it just struck me as odd when I saw them admonish another visitor who started to photograph something they liked even though no flash was involved - no photographs allowed in a facility devoted to them.
