We stayed in the Grand Sahara suite for 5 nights and had a fabulous stay!
We travelled with our 16 month old son, who was made to feel right at home from the day of our arrival. Peter and Aziz went out of their way to ensure our stay was more than comfortable. The suite was thoroughly cleaned daily, with fresh towels available on request. We were welcomed with a lovely bowl of fresh fruit, a great bottle of wine, snacks (chocolate, rice crackers and biscuits) and a fridge full of complimentary mineral water, beer and soft drinks! There were even lovely fresh lillies in the living area and the bathroom (On booking, they asked what my favourite flowers were so it was fantastic to find that they had personalised the flower arrangements!)
The suite had all the furnishings one could have wished for (including a lovely jacuzzi bath!). All baby facilities were available, including travel cot, high chair, toys, and plenty of DVD's to keep young and old entertained.
Everything we could have wished for was provided for - they even went and bought us a raincover for the baby buggy after we'd forgotten ours in London!
Peter and Aziz were great hosts, and always available for a chat and to offer information and advice on things to see and do in Amsterdam.
The breakfasts were a delight! The other reviewers were not wrong about the delicious breakfasts which await you each morning! I definitely recommend going for the tropical breakfasts freshly prepared by Aziz each morning.
We left Amsterdam feeling refreshed, well fed and well looked after, (and my son had some wonderful new toys bought for him by Peter and Aziz).
This B&B is one heck of a find if you are travelling to Amsterdam, and there is no doubt in our minds that we will definitely be back to this little Gem!!
