We stayed in the Grand Sahara suite for 5 nights and had a fabulous stay!
We travelled with our 16 month old son, who was made to feel right at home from the day of our arrival. Peter and Aziz went out of their way to ensure our stay was more than comfortable. The suite was thoroughly cleaned daily, with fresh towels available on request. We were welcomed with a lovely bowl of fresh fruit, a great bottle of wine, snacks (chocolate, rice crackers and biscuits) and a fridge full of complimentary mineral water, beer and soft drinks! There were even lovely fresh lillies in the living area and the bathroom (On booking, they asked what my favourite flowers were so it was fantastic to find that they had personalised the flower arrangements!)

The suite had all the furnishings one could have wished for (including a lovely jacuzzi bath!). All baby facilities were available, including travel cot, high chair, toys, and plenty of DVD's to keep young and old entertained.
Everything we could have wished for was provided for - they even went and bought us a raincover for the baby buggy after we'd forgotten ours in London!
Peter and Aziz were great hosts, and always available for a chat and to offer information and advice on things to see and do in Amsterdam.

The breakfasts were a delight! The other reviewers were not wrong about the delicious breakfasts which await you each morning! I definitely recommend going for the tropical breakfasts freshly prepared by Aziz each morning.

We left Amsterdam feeling refreshed, well fed and well looked after, (and my son had some wonderful new toys bought for him by Peter and Aziz).
This B&B is one heck of a find if you are travelling to Amsterdam, and there is no doubt in our minds that we will definitely be back to this little Gem!!

On our way to spending our honeymoon in Africa, my wife and I were put up at Suite 259 by my parents as a wedding gift to us. We arrived at the B&B and were immediately impressed! Peter helped us right away and offered us advice on places to go and things to do. The room was incredible and we especially took advantage of everything it had to offer. We loved sitting out on the deck. It is a bit of a walk to the city center but not unwalkable. Peter offered us plenty of great places to eat. I would definately suggest the Ethiopean place. Quite an experience. Breakfast was amazing and we loved every bit of it. My only advice- bring cash only. It is rare that anyone takes t. checks or credit cards.

We have just spent two wonderful nights at Suite 259 during Queens Day celebrations. We stayed in the Safari suite which has everything you could possibly want - microwave, fridge, complimentary drinks, fresh coffee machine, chocolates, pc/broadband, a stunning vase of lilies, and the best continential breakfast ever!

Peter and Aziz did everything to make our stay just perfect, arranging taxis on days when there were none around, recommending good places to eat and Peter even dressed in orange from head to foot for the Queens Day celebrations (although he did make me promise not to put the picture on here!).

We would recommend Suite 259 unreservedly and I really hope we get back there sometime soon!

Met by our host Peter, in the street as we approached Suite 259 and from then we were treated like royalty for our four day stay (over Easter 07) in Suite Grand Sahara. This accommodation is ideal for two couples or a couple with 1 or 2 children. Peter and Aziz provided
more than we asked for and did it with genuine care for our comfort and privacy. Their generosity was enourmous. The suite comes with everything from fresh flowers to a stocked fridge (and computer with broadband in the room). There were no extra charges over and above our room rate which really was excellent value. Do yourself a favour and stay here next time you visit this cool city.

Aziz & Peter couldn't have been friendlier.
The suite couldn't have been nicer.
The new, huge jacuzzi bath is lovely.
Breakfast was delicious.
Easter pressies, 25 red roses wrapped in silk for our anniversary, wine, chocolate and fruit to welcome us.
Incredible.
