Peter and Aziz have welcomed us like family. Our stay here was perfect. Accomidations were more than enough with an extensive DVD collection, a great bottle of wine, and the most wonderful breakfasts. Sleeping away from home was made easy with the pillowy comfort of the bedroom. Very clean, very bright, very beautiful!

Suite 259 is situated on Overtoom which is extremely close to the Leidseplein area (touristy stuff and such). I always felt safe and there is a tram stop within 50 yards. The place is very quiet and extremely cozy.
My friend and I stayed in Suite Safari which is nicely decortated and all the ammenities of a hotel are provided...including complimentary beverages, snacks, and fruit. Fresh flowers are changed a few times during your stay.
The room is spotless, the air conditioning is perfect, the bed is comfortable, the shower is nice and hot and an iron and ironing board is available upon request.

The hosts, Peter and Aziz, are phenomenal. The morning breakfasts are perfect and very fulfilling. Scrambled eggs, prawns, pancakes, french toast and fruit, just to name a few of the daily breakfasts. My partner is allergic to dairy products and Aziz provided vanilla soy milk for him. The food is simply fantastic and no reasonable request was denied....Aziz was even able to get blueberries and we showed them what blueberry pancakes are...it was cute. On the day before check out, Peter was able to provide specific details about our return flight back to the states. NO hotel will ever come close as to what these two great hosts provide for their guests.

I am not a walker but the distance to and from Suite 259 and other areas was not a problem. We walked to the Heinekin experience (must see) and to the Van Gogh museum and if I didn't feel like walking, Tram #1 and Tram #6 conveniently whisk you to the main areas or to a central point to make a connection.

We stayed in Suite Safari, however, Peter allowed us to tour Grand Sahara. The Grand Sahara is two story and sleeps more. There is a jacuzzi tub.

Both suites have up-to-date computers with high speed internet connections. There is an EXTENSIVE DVD list (700+ titles).

I am 100% satisfied with Suite 259. The price (cash only) is WELL WORTH IT because I have never found such beautiful and tasty breakfasts, great hosts and a wonderful location all in one spot before.

My husband and I spent three nights the middle of July. We chose it after reading comments on TripAdvisor and we were more than pleased with our accomodations and certainly with our hosts! We arrived without luggage and Peter took on the challenge of prompting the Airline for quick delivery and carried our two "over weight" bags up the stairs and into our suite before we returned that evening. Aziz and his breakfast along with he and Peter being available to answer all kinds of questions about the city, what to do and see including providing us with maps was just fabulous. We would definitely stay there on a return trip except we'd extend our stay to a week and have time to take in the surrounding area.

My husband, daughter and I have just returned from a three week trip through Europe. We began our vacation in Amsterdam, where we stayed at Suite 259. We originally decided to stay there after reading excellent reviews at TripAdvisor. It definitely met our expectations. Our suite was spacious, beautifully decorated, and welcoming. The kitchen had all the tools necessary for us to feel at home. We especially loved the coffee maker. The coffee was excellent and very quickly made. However, the best part of our stay at Suite 259 were Peter and Aziz. My husband was for the most part away on business during our stay, and both owners took the time to ensure that both my daughter and I felt comfortable and safe in Amsterdam. Peter and Aziz were helpful, humorous and generous. Each morning Aziz prepared an exquisite breakfast. During breakfast they both helped to plan our day. They took the time to ensure that we knew how to get to "where we were going." They also happily shared insights about their elegant and gracious city. We definitely will return to Amsterdam and Suite 259. And my husband sends his thanks for Peter mailing the forgotten items back to us in Canada.
