I have just returned from spending 6 nights in this wonderful bed & breakfast in Amsterdam just steps away from the famous Vondel Park.

Every morning I was welcomed by Aziz and Peter who are gracious hosts and amazing cooks. Their care and attention to detail are first rate and they truly care that you are comfortable and have everything you need.

My husband has already booked them for his next trip to Amsterdam.

This place is a must stay !!!!

After reading wonderful reviews for Suite 259 we had high expectations, and we got everyting we hoped for!

Suite 259 is the place to stay in Amsterdam. It is conveniently located on the street with a tramline, walking distance to museums and many restaurants. The apartment has a lot of nice amenities, such internet access, Jacuzzi, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer, drinks in the fridge, two TVs… the list goes on and on. Peter and Aziz are great hosts - warm, attentive, and helpful!

We stayed in Grand Sahara; it is facing away from the Overtoon and was very quiet. Grand Sahara consists 2 floors and a lovely terrace. The second floor is a loft, there are no doors, so the sound carries between floors if this is important to you. The weather was unusually hot and the second floor bedroom got quite warm at night, but Peter and Aziz thoughtfully provided a fan (with remote control!), which helped a lot. Attached pictures are: the lovely terrace, the typical steep Dutch staircase to the apartment, the spiral staircase leading from first floor to the loft.

We recommend Suite 259 to all our friends and Trip Advisor readers traveling to Amsterdam. Thank you for making our stay in this city so pleasant!!!

We loved staying at Peter and Aziz's - they couldn't have been more gracious.
The suite was wonderful, beautiful, spotless, convenient, quiet, etc. etc.
The location is great - near museums and easy transportation to other parts of the city.
Our breakfasts were superb (Aziz, thank you) , as were Peter's dining recommendations, and sense of humor.

We stayed at the Suite 259 for six nights and and found it absolutely delightful. The fresh roses in our room when we arrived were replaced by fresh tulips on the fourth morning of our stay. Peter and Aziz took wonderful care of us, and Peter happily insisted on hauling our luggage both up and down the stairs on arrival and departure.

The meals were sublime and our hosts were absolutely charming. It was so wonderful to be able to ask questions and get savvy answers.

We loved the coffee in the coffeemaker in the room, the fresh snacks every day, the refrigerator, the shower, and the in-room computer with high-speed internet access. What a pleasure that was!
We highly recommend it to all!
