Having read the reviews, I was prepared for a lovely B & B, but this is just fabulous! My husband, who is very picky, is thrilled, too. We wanted to be a little away from the old part of town, and near the park so he can do his daily run. Perfect location, as it is near the museums, and only a 30 min. walk to the old town.

The room we have is the Sahara Suite, and I love it so much that I just couldn't wait until I got home to rave about it. Every detail has been seen to. In room free computer/internet, a lovely bottle of wine, huge bowl of fresh fruit and the fridge with all kinds of soft drinks, all complimentary. Great TV and choice of tons of DVD's. The antique furnishings and view of the charming street below make us wonder if we will ever leave the room!

I am currently trying to talk my husband into simply moving in here for good! Do not hesitate to stay in this exceptional B & B. Will post pictures when I get home.

In short: if you choose to stay at the Suite 259 you wont just get a great clean room, outstanding breakfast, beautiful flowers and a sunny balkony; you will as well get a feeling of warm welcome and meet wonderful hosts that really love meeting new people and be of service. The homepage is good and they answear e-mails quickly . Simply nothing to complain about. Me and my family found this B&B a super one. We were two couples staying in one apartment and it was big enough, two bathrooms and the sleeping-couch is actually a good bed. The only downside for me was that the pillows were a bit big for me to sleep well!

My entire family stayed here for three days to celebrate my husband''s birthday.
We have been to Amsterdam dozens of times and have finally found the best place to stay in the entire city. Peter and Aziz are hosts who seem to understand and anticipate their guests' every need - from the great breakfasts, to the beautiful rooms, the delicious surprise birthday cake for my husband and the delightful small gifts they gave us on the day we left.
The rooms are wonderfully decorated, spacious and luxurious. We stayed in both the rooms with my son and daughter and could not fault the service and care that goes into this place.
Our advice would be to cancel every other Amsterdam hotel booking and make a beeline for Suite 259. We can't wait to go back!

Like your previous reviewer I do not normally write reviews, however felt this delight of a B & B deserved one.
Great place to stay in Amsterdam, our hosts Peter & Aziz were wonderful, could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was a delight every morning, from the Asian cuisine which I may add was fab, to the surprize gifts left on the table for my two children. The kids were delighted. The rooms were lovely and spotlessly clean (and I tend to be picky), they were large and very, very comfortable. We would recommend Suite 259 highly. Many thanks Peter & Aziz.
